Years ago, I had an apartment that was lacking in kitchen space. My knife block took up too much counter space. There weren't enough drawers to have one dedicated to a knife organizer. I didn't want to mix knives with utensils and risk cutting myself groping around in the utensils.
What's a girl to do? Go to Ikea!!! I had the great fortune of living less than 10 miles away from Ikea.
Not only does Ikea have innovative space saving ideas, but the products have style and flair. They are also reasonably priced. It's a great way to live on a budget while still adulting.
In my search for a knife solution, I found the kitchen section with the Grundtal magnetic knife rack that was just the thing for these orphaned knives.
