African Yuca (Cassava)

Africans tend to call yuca "cassava" or "manioc." My husband refers to it as cassava in English and as manioc in French. 

While he enjoyed the Cuban style yuca that I made recently, he wanted to have it an African way. Simple enough! Boil a few peeled pieces and drain it. Serve it with palm oil and salt.

It was nice and easy. Palm oil has a different taste to it and made the yuca flavorful.
